BioLife is a succession of phases punctuated most often by career changes. Preferring continuity to uncertainty, I have really only changed careers once. So the first phase of my life was education: childhood, school, high school, and college. The second was a long stint with a multi-national corporation, programming and maintaining their computer systems. Phase three began in 2001 when I was laid off. Since then I've done mostly consulting and contract work through my own incorporated company.
